COMMERCIAL MUSIC EXPERIENCE

Director of Music  2010-2017

Central Lutheran Church- Chippewa Falls, WI

Selected all liturgy, hymns and special music for 50 plus traditional services per year. Played the organ and piano for all traditional services and funerals. Selected, arranged and rehearsed all music for 100 plus band led services per year. Maintained necessary CCLI licensing and music library for all groups. Conducted a 5 octave Malmark bell choir 9 months per year. Conducted and arranged for an adult choir and liturgy vocal leaders. Hired all professional musicians when needed and scheduled all volunteer musicians. Attended weekly staff meeting and managed a music budget of $10,000. During tenure, increased the number of volunteer musicians serving by 30. Purchased new sound equipment, drum set and updated liturgy and worship music to present day standards. Hosted the African Children’s Choir, recording artist Erin Bode and Paraphrase Theatre. Started a children’s choir and directed a children’s Christmas music annually.
